Jacques de Vos is a self-taught, world-renowned freediver, founder of Arctic Freediving and an award winner underwater photographer and cameraman
With projects for BBC, Epic TV and Red Bull. In the Arctic, Jacques assists with research projects focused on orca and humpback whales in their natural environment.
Jacques has been a long-time collaborator with LW, testing the Oktopus diving watches in extreme ocean environments, at great depths and low temperatures. Most of his work is done on a single breath, making it even more impressive.

“With its exceptionally light weight and streamlined profile, the Oktopus Double Date Carbon is a great watch to wear. The natural rubber strap is easy to adjust, even in-water when worn over a wetsuit.”
– Jacques de Vos

EXPEDITIONS WITH LINDE WERDELIN
Jacques has taken the Oktopus Deep Sea and Oktopus Double Date Carbon pieces to the deep seas of Norway and the warm waters of Tenerife during multiple diving expeditions.
He has tested the water resistance capabilities (resistant to a depth of 300M) and utilised the striking, luminant dial which can be read easily underwater by divers.
