The Biformeter concept is based on the idea of combining the very best of mechanical watch making with a cutting-edge sports instrument.

It is an elegant, distinctive watch and a professional sport instrument without having to compromise on functionality, precision or design.

2006 saw Linde Werdelin launch their first classic Biformeter (founders watch) to their first clients. This saw the Biformeters first commission for an expedition to summit Mount Everest.

Before the two universes were born, The Elemental Biformeter - was the original Linde Werdelin diving watch with a rotating bezel, designed to be connected with the LW digital instrument, The Reef. Launched at the same time and true to the brand’s DNA of travel and sports, the 2 Timer BIFORMETER boasted a GMT function (ETA 2893-2).

Later the watch was entirely revisited to fully embrace it’s travel spirit and the diver’s bezel was replaced by a 24h bezel, making it a 3 Timer.

Although the 3 Timer is a more elevated version of the 2 Timer, it retains the sporty dimension of its older brother. The dial has been redesigned in a more subdued version: with a new dial textured pattern evocating the longitude and latitude lines around the globe.
